Blake explained the procedures to run the sewer test. Outside, he showed me a couple of areas where we have standing water in the sewer line. He did a flush and sent a crew to remove tree roots that are causing a buckle in our line. After the cleanout, we experienced a strong sewer smell in the downstairs toilet and laundry room. I ran water to fill P-traps and the smell faded.

It was a good experience; however, I was surprised how expensive the sewer check was. It was just over $300.00 for 15 minutes of scope work plus 15 minutes to document everything and email to me. He did wait for me because both our schedules didn’t match up together.

Amazing service from Blake and Ryan!! We had a sewer line back up at 8:00 p.m. on a Thursday night, so we had no working toilets and couldn't use our water. I called 5 different companies, but Bacon was the only one who could get a technician out that night. Ryan arrived to our house within 30 minutes and started trying to clear the line. After about 3 hours, he wasn't able to clear it, but said they'd send someone out first thing the following morning to make sure it was addressed. Blake and Ryan came back the next morning to use the power jet to try to clear it again. There was no charge since they said since they weren't able to get it done the night before. Unfortunately, they still couldn't clear the line. Blake ran his camera through the line and determined the blockage was in the city line. Blake called the city plumbing department superintendent directly from our home to request the city come clear the issue. The city was at our place before Blake and Ryan even left! I am very impressed with the service and professionalism of Blake, Ryan and the entire team at Bacon!

I do not recommend Bacon Electrical and Plumbing. On April 7, 2025, I had a sewer line clog and called Bacon Plumbing Heating Air Electric for service. The initial technician spent approximately four hours on site but was unable to locate or resolve the clog. His field supervisor, who stated he had 24 years of plumbing experience, arrived and spent about two hours on the job. He began by inserting a camera into the sewer line from the septic tank and informed me that the line was "underwater." He then shifted into a sales pitch, recommending a full system replumb for $17,000 — "discounted" to $15,000 because I had joined the Bacon Friends and Family Club. This was not the service I had requested, as I simply needed the clog cleared. The supervisor proceeded by cutting into a gray water line and inserting a camera, which dislodged the washing machine’s discharge hose. This turned out not to be the location of the clog. He then accessed the shower plumbing panels inside the home, and within approximately 30 minutes, the clog was cleared. I was charged $339. However, the job was left incomplete and careless: The gray water pipe remained cut. The washing machine discharge hose was left disconnected. The access panel was not closed up. As a result, two loads of laundry discharged directly into the wall before I noticed and reconnected the hose. I also repaired the cut gray water pipe on my own. Approximately two weeks later, a noticeable sewer odor developed. At first, I suspected the septic tank. About a week and a half after that, I found sewer water visibly leaking from under the house. I contacted Bacon again, and a quality assurance technician was sent to investigate. He discovered a broken 90-degree pipe fitting, which he suspected had not been properly glued and had come loose. Their proposed solution was to repair the issue for $1,300, with a credit of the original $339 service fee — bringing the total to $1,000. The $1,300 option included an added clean-out port and a warranty; the $1,000 option did not. Given the initial failure to diagnose the issue properly, the high-pressure sales tactics, the careless workmanship, and the resulting damage and inconvenience, I cannot recommend Bacon Electrical and Plumbing. *****************************************UPDATE 06/11/2025******************************* Bacon Electrical and Plumbing Made It Right — Excellent Follow-Up Service! After a rough initial experience in April 2025 with a misdiagnosed clog and some damage left behind, I’m happy to say that Bacon Electrical and Plumbing truly stepped up. A knowledgeable manager reached out promptly after I reported the ongoing issues. They listened, took responsibility, and refunded the initial $339 service charge without hesitation. They sent out a highly skilled plumber who wasn't afraid to get down into the muck and water to locate and repair the damaged 90-degree sewer line fitting. His professionalism, determination, and clear communication were impressive. He not only fixed the problem caused during the first visit but ensured everything was properly sealed, cleaned, and tested before leaving. It’s rare to see a company own their mistakes and go the extra mile to make things right. Bacon proved they’re a stand-up company that values their customers and their reputation. Thanks to the responsive manager and the dedicated plumber, my faith in Bacon has been restored. Highly recommended!

We had a sewer line backing up into the house. Emergency! I called Bacon and they had their technician Sedrick R. at our house within an hour, when another company I had used previously failed to even call me back. Had a Mr. Koa out to my property one late evening; our main line had a blockage in it. He worked late into the evening to get things working again! He stayed even later to run his camera to ensure our lines were free and clear. He was able to locate a break in our line and was back out the next morning, bright and early, to dig down and make the repair. I will never use another plumbing company. All the guys that showed up to help Koa were amazing. If you read this post, just remember everyone loves Bacon!

Bacon is fast, reliable, affordable, and do quality work. I had a leaky cast iron sewer line and got 3 quotes to repair it. Bacon was not only the cheapest but the only one that said they could have it fixed by the next day. Joshua arrived on time, even giving me a 1-hour heads up to let me know they were on their way. They showed me all the work they did, and it was well done. They strapped the line every few feet and replaced the whole line all the way to the main sewer line under my pier and beam home. Oh, and they send you pictures of everything, which I really appreciated. I got to keep pictures of the inside of my main line and pictures of the parts they replaced.

I didn’t get the name of the woman who assisted me over the phone, but she was kind, courteous, and did everything she could to help me! My $18K Job Turned Into a $600 Job Feb 14, 2024

Listen!! I had not 1, not 2, but 3 different plumbers come out (the third one just came to give a quote based on what I said; he didn’t check anything) and give me a quote of around 18K just to replace my sewage pipes. Bacon was my last call. I showed him the video of prior techs' evidence, and he called it out and said it doesn’t look like it needs to be replaced, it needs to be cleaned. He used a machine, got all the gunk out, and now my 18K job turned into a $600 job. I’m rocking with Bacon 🥓💪🏾 I had Josh & Logan out.
