Zac Made This an Incredibly Pleasant Experience Jun 15, 2026

We are used to Bacon’s quality service, but must sincerely give accolades to electrician Zac, who came to install a new smoke detector and replace hardwired under-cabinet lighting. It is sometimes a bit apprehensive to allow anyone you’re unfamiliar with into your home, but I must say that Zac made this such an incredibly pleasant experience. Extremely professional, obviously an expert in his field. Full of life and know-how, presents so well and puts a homeowner at ease. He had incredibly positive energy. Rarely do you see someone who does a good job but enjoys and actually says that he loves the job that he does. That was incredible, as I rarely find those who actually feel that way about their employment or their employer. We had a couple of issues to fit the lighting we had purchased to install, and he went above and beyond, trying to troubleshoot to make it work. We were unsuccessful in our efforts, need to re-order some different lighting that we had provided, but I absolutely won’t allow anybody else to come to the house except for Zac to do a reinstall! I very much enjoyed chatting with him and feel that he’s definitely a credit to Bacon Plumbing Heating Air Electric. Thank you again, Zac, for your help, your perseverance, and your willingness to try and help assist us with our lighting/smoke detector issues!

I called Bacon about finding/repairing a deficient smoke detector in our home this afternoon, and Toshia immediately connected me with Andrew, who arrived within a couple of hours. After walking through our home for about 5 minutes, Andrew found and disabled the one (of 12) detector that was beeping, and gave us solid advice on replacing our detectors, which ones to purchase for the various areas of our home, and offered to check out any other electric issues we may have been having while he was here. We have been in our home for a year and have been unable to figure out why the jets in our bathroom tub were not working, and Andrew immediately found the switch behind my clothes that was tripped in our closet. He was so patient, kind, and informative to both me and my husband, who arrived toward the end of his visit. I 100% recommend Bacon for anyone in need of their services, and if possible, ask for Andrew!!

I like the Friends and Family Plan that they offer! If for no other reason, they’ll come and change out our smoke alarm and carbon monoxide batteries once a year if we provide the batteries, among many other maintenance services. I think it’ll head off future problems.
