Had an incredible experience with Bacon! Our AC froze up on a hot Saturday afternoon, and water was dripping from our emergency overflow. Josh Baker came out quickly, walked us through the diagnostic checklist, and was completely honest with us. He let us know the drain line actually wasn't clogged and that our troubleshooting step of swapping out a dirty air filter was likely the fix. He let the system thaw, didn't try to upsell us on anything we didn't need, and didn't even charge us a dime for the visit. It’s Monday now and the system is running perfectly. Honest, professional, and fast—Bacon has earned a customer for life!

My family and I had a wonderful experience with Bacon Electric. I hope you have a minute to visit with me; let me tell you this tea!! We were in distress last Friday when our HVAC pan overflowed and our unit stopped working. The search was on for a repair team and it was after 10 p.m. I called five different companies and left a voicemail. I must admit that I was hoping that Bacon Electric would call me back. The reviews were great, they open at 7 a.m., and they give you a free estimate. Well, I received that return call by 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. It was from Michaela, but I missed the call. I then had a follow-up call from Natalie, who was very helpful and concerned. She assured me that she could have a technician to assist me, but she didn’t have an exact time. That was a relief. I thanked her for listening and getting an appointment. She said that the technician would call 30 minutes before arrival. Well, it happened just like that. Thank you, Natalie!! I received a call from the most wonderful and professional technician named Hudson, who said he was on the way. He was there before 4 p.m.!! Oh my goodness, what a hardworking, dedicated employee Hudson is. B.E., he’s a keeper and he is a great representation of your company. This young man, from the moment I met him, was so professional, extremely polite, and a great listener who’s solution-focused. I told him the problem and he went all in, saying, “We are going to get you some air.” It turns out that the pipe was clogged and the water was unable to drain, so it overflowed. He told me the cost of the repair and then discounts I would be entitled to if I became a member for a low monthly cost. Well, of course I signed up and I am very grateful I did. The benefits are so worth it and you get priority scheduling. The system also blew a fuse. That was the easy part. The hard part was testing to find the clogged area. He kept trying. In lieu of the heat and his sweat from head to toe, I gave him some cold water when he wanted it. He was determined and I was praying, “Lord, please help Hudson find our solution.” He kept trying, saying, “We are going to get it, but I may have to call a plumber.” He tried again and called a supervisor and went back in and it was fixed. He was extremely excited and so were we. The Lord answered all of our prayer. He cleaned everything and powered the system up. He stayed around to ensure that the system was working properly and that the house was cooling. He left our home after 9 p.m. I thanked him and he said to me that we are family and that the goal of Bacon Electric is to leave you better and make you feel like family. Mission accomplished, B.E., and thank you, Hudson, for everything you’ve done for our family and the others you served before us. We had a great night of sleep and have been enjoying the cool air ever since. It felt like family and we are now members of the Bacon family. Check out the monthly membership. Cole McNabb was great and polite! Answered all my questions, no complaints about the technician! However, I felt it was expensive to pay $240 just to change the capacitor; the part was like $30 on Amazon or a few other places I looked up. I really wish they could have charged me $150, which seems like a fair price. Also, there was a leak (could be) from the AC outdoor unit after the capacitor was changed, or it may be condensation, which I did not see before. I have requested a reinspection; hopefully they send the technician back to look at the water around the copper pipes to make sure it’s not a leak, and hopefully they would consider my request to charge $150 and refund $90. And if they do refund $90, I will stick to this company forever! Hopefully management will look at my request. Way better than American Home Shield, who hire crap vendors, but once the reinspection is done I will update the review.

Mr. Mullinnix was fantastic!!! Personable and professional. My husband was out of town, and Mr. Mullinnix was patient in explaining everything to both of us. He was also kind to our two dogs, who wanted a little attention before he began troubleshooting the issue. The pricing was fair, and the membership was worth it given the required additional work needed for an almost 10-year-old AC unit. How the Mistake Is Rectified Matters May 22, 2026

I had an issue with my AC where the technician didn't properly diagnose during my annual tune-up and unfortunately resulted in a costly repair a little over a month later. Annie provided excellent customer service by following up on my issue, investigating it, and offering a reasonable accommodation for customer satisfaction. I believe in the mantra that people can make mistakes, but it's how the mistake is rectified that matters most.
