Bacon has been an excellent company
Bacon has been an excellent plumbing, HVAC, and electrical company. I first hired them to fix a plumbing issue. The plumbing had been landlord-specialed by a different company. Bacon fixed it right the first time. I had a faulty HVAC system installed by a different company that was limping along, and Bacon kept it running for a few months. Once I saved up, I hired them to replace the HVAC from the ducts on down. I also got them to blow some insulation into my attic. Then, I had them replace the service drop on my older home from a droopy fascia mount to the code-compliant modern style. They topped all this work off with a new breaker panel and new front lights. Everyone except the electrician was absolutely professional in every way. The electrician was a strange bird, but he did good work, so I can't really complain. It's nice to come home to a house that has no issues. I mean, that is worth its weight in gold, frankly. Yeah, Bacon isn't cheap. But I pay for execution and reliability. I'm sure I can get cheaper work done, but would it be worth it in the end? They stand by their work, and I can call them and actually speak to someone immediately. Booking appointments isn't an ordeal. If something isn't quite right, it gets taken care of expediently. I recommend Bacon, and with the amount of work I've had them do, I'm in a position to do that.

This appointment should never have been scheduled, which we explained by phone with the scheduler - our system is less than 2 months old. Cole McNabb totally agreed, especially in light of the fact the excuse the scheduler used as reason to schedule service couldn't be performed in such cold weather/shouldn't need to be performed so soon after installation, regardless of weather. Again, Cole McNabb was knowledgeable, professional, understanding.

My HVAC was impacted by a lightning strike in a couple of ways: a fried touchscreen thermostat and some burned ducting. Camden kept me apprised of the work he was doing to diagnose the issues as he went about his work.
At the end he gave me a detailed verbal explanation of the parts and repairs that would be needed. He also provided a timeline of how long parts would take to acquire and when they'd be able to finish all the work.
He also provided a detailed written quote that I received shortly after he left. Camden conducted his business in a very professional manner and felt more like a guest in my home than a repair person.
