Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical in Prosper, TX

Is your air conditioner struggling to keep up with another triple-digit afternoon? Is a slow drain or a dripping water heater making your home feel less than comfortable? Are you wondering who to call when a breaker trips and no one at the house can figure out why?

Those are the moments when you need a company that answers the phone and shows up ready to work. That company is Bacon Plumbing Heating Air Electric, and you can reach us at (469) 455-1521. We are a family-owned business founded in 2011 by Brad Bacon in Rockwall, Texas, and we have been serving homes across Prosper and the surrounding North Texas communities ever since. Our Plano office keeps us close to Collin County, which is where most of Prosper sits, with a portion of the town stretching into Denton County.

Let us start with the air you breathe, because in a fast-growing town full of newer construction, the ductwork behind the walls matters more than most people realize.

Indoor Air Quality in Prosper

Many of Prosper’s homes are recent builds inside large master-planned communities, and even new duct systems can develop leaks, gaps, and dust buildup over time. When your ducts are not sealed correctly, you pay to cool air that never reaches the rooms you actually use. And with summers here regularly pushing into the upper 90s and past 100 degrees, that waste adds up fast.

Here is how we help with the air moving through your home:

Cleaner ducts mean better airflow, more even temperatures, and an HVAC system that does not have to fight for every degree.

Cooling and Heating

The reality is that heat is the dominant challenge in this part of North Texas, and your cooling system carries the load for most of the year. Whether you need a quick fix or a full system swap, we work with names like Amana, Lennox, Trane, and Rheem, and our technicians are NATE-certified.

Our cooling services include:

Winters here are usually mild, but the February 2021 freeze reminded everyone that hard freezes and ice storms do reach the region. When they do, a reliable heater is not optional.

Our heating services include:

Most HVAC systems we install carry a 10-year parts and labor warranty, so you are covered long after the truck pulls away.

Plumbing and Drains

North Texas municipal water is hard, with a good amount of mineral content, and that mineral buildup works against your water heater and your pipes year after year. The expansive clay soil common to the area also shifts with moisture changes, which is one reason slab leaks happen in homes along the US-380 corridor and throughout Prosper.

Our plumbing services include:

And when the water is not flowing the way it should, our drain team can clear it:

For homes on septic, we handle that too. And a full sewer re-pipe is backed by a 25-year warranty.

Electrical

From tripped panels to new EV chargers, our licensed electricians handle the wiring behind everyday life. Spring severe weather in North Texas brings thunderstorms, hail, and the occasional power surge, so surge protection is worth a conversation.

Our electrical services include:

Electrical panels we install carry a lifetime warranty, no membership required.
