When deciding what HVAC system to use in your home, the number of options can be overwhelming. We understand that there are many options on the market, all claiming to be the best value. How do you know what to choose? Our team of professionals at Bacon can help you get the most bang for your buck.

Since 1913 Trane has been the premier provider of HVAC systems. Today, there are over 10 million Trane units in households and 10,000 Trane dealers across the country. Discover why our technicians at Bacon Plumbing Heating Air Electric recommend Trane HVAC units for their value, energy efficiency, and low sound levels.

Value

Trane lives up to its motto, “It’s hard to stop a Trane”’ with its system’s incredible durability in all conditions.

Trane utilizes two products to give them top-rated value in the industry. First, the Spine Fin coils prevent rust formation in the HVAC system as it transfers heat in and out of your home. With these all-aluminum coils, you won’t have to replace your HVAC system as frequently compared to others. Second, the WeatherGuard II works to protect your unit from all the elements, so rain or shine, your HVAC system will always be working.

If you know you live in a location with harsh weather conditions, Trane offers an all-weather cover to ensure protection against all kinds of conditions. To test value and durability, Trane puts their systems through over 2,500 hours of testing that simulates months of wear and tear, to ensure you can rely on Trane products, no matter the season.

Energy Efficiency

In the HVAC industry, the seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) is calculated by evaluating the ratio of cooling efforts divided by the energy it uses. Essentially, the higher the SEER rating, the more efficient your air conditioning system is. The U.S. Department of Energy currently enforces minimum SEER requirements of at least 14 in southern areas and 13 in northern areas, and these numbers are expected to go up in 2023. Some of Trane’s HVAC systems have the highest rating in the industry, up to 20!

Trane’s systems also are environmentally efficient. Trane uses R-123, an alternative to the harsh refrigerant that negatively affects the environment. R-123 is highly efficient for your home and gives you peace of mind knowing you aren’t damaging your environment. Plus, if you think your unit may not be running at peak efficiency, Trane offers a 10-year warranty on all parts to cover any unexpected issues.

Sound Level

No matter if you live in a city with strict noise standards or in the rural countryside, you don’t want to constantly hear the noise of your HVAC system. Trane offers a multitude of systems, each with different decibels (dB) of sound. As a rule of thumb, appliances inside your home should be around 40-50 dB whereas appliances that run on the outside can be louder, about 70-80 dB.

On the most silent model, Trane boasts 43 dB of sound, equivalent to quiet library sounds. Some of the other models are higher in number, but a trained technician will be able to recommend what unit is best for your home based on the noise level along with other factors.

Install Top-Rated Trane Products in Your Home

Trane only allows certified, expert technicians to sell and install their equipment. Trane requires technicians to be knowledgeable of the inner workings of the parts and systems as a standard of quality. At Bacon Plumbing Heating Air Electric, our technicians are certified and trained to install and maintain maintenance on all Trane products.

Switch to Trane’s HVAC systems, for a better value, increased energy efficiency, and less noisy unit. Our technicians can easily manage the switch for you and give you the value of a lifetime!
